The warm, tropical air of summer has arrived in South Florida. (Or, to some people, it’s just hot and humid.) Either way you look at it, summer in Florida means boating, beaches, bathing, longer days, and maybe even bonus free time.
As we ease into summer at Goldman & Daszkal, P.A., we are grateful to be able to assist our clients and enjoy some free time having fun and helping charitable organizations. Here’s an update on a few of our out-of-office activities:
Attorney Jessica London represented the firm at the Comedy 4 Kids fundraiser at the Ft. Lauderdale Improv. The non-profit organization, Bright Steps Forward, raises funds for critical and early therapeutic interventions for children with disabilities in South Florida. Read more info here.
Glenn Goldman, Julie Goldman, Jessica London, and Barry Schomer represented Goldman & Daszkal, P.A. at the Broward County Fallen Heroes Fund Golf Tournament. Monies raised at this event benefit the families of deputy and fire-rescue officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. For more information, click here.
Attorney Sean Pleus attended Love & Laughter – The Red Door Luncheon benefiting Gilda’s Club of South Florida, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, a non-profit organization that Goldman & Daszkal, P.A. proudly supports. The organization provides free programs for adults, teens, and children who have been affected by cancer. Click here for more details. Earlier in 2016, Sean Pleus was elected to the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club of South Florida (click for the story).
And, our own Founding Partner Alex Daszkal was featured in a recent South Florida Business Journal article titled “One Dream, Three Brothers, Three Businesses.” For the full article, click here.
Whether you and your family will be enjoying the waterways and pools in Florida this summer or traveling out of state, on behalf of all of us at Goldman & Daszkal, P.A., we wish you and your loved ones a safe and relaxing summer!
